Ukrainian ‘Theatre for Dialogue’ NGO in collaboration with Creative Development Center Georgia invites you to participate in the regional Forum Theatre Workshop organized in Tbilisi, Georgia on October 6-8 (5th being arrival day and 9th departure day) 2017. The workshop is  supported by  the Regional office of Friedrich Ebert Foundation ‘Dialogue Eastern Europe’.

Theatre of the Oppressed is a powerful emancipatory tool, which leads to increased political awareness, raising critical consciousness and mobilization of the groups who experience it. The methodol consists of a series of games, exercises and techniques which involve the body, the senses and engage personal experiences of participants to create opportunities for critical reflection of our social reality, build dialogue and jointly search for bottom-up solutions to social issues. As an interactive and participatory form of theatre, TO creates a safe space for people to rehearse their actions and find various opportunities for social transformation which can later be used in real life.  Forum-theatre is one of the most popular methods of TO which is used all over the world.

Participation in the project is free of charge. All costs to Tbilisi (using mainly bus or train) will be reimbursed upon arrival after presenting original bills. Accommodation is fully covered during your stay in Tbilisi. Fabrika Tbilisi together with Impact Hub Tbilisi will be our main venues.

The workshop is a second stage of our project, where participants of Trainer’s meeting, that has been organized in Kiev, Ukraine, in June 2017 will lead the workshop and together with participants create the forum theatre play to be presented for wider public on the last day of the event.

უკრაინული ორგანიზაცია ‘თეატრი დიალოგისათვის’ Nკრეატიული  განვითარების ცენტრთან ერთად გიწვევთ მონაწილეობის მისაღებად ფორუმ თეატრის რეგიონალურ ვორკშოპზე.  ვორკშოპი ჩატარდება 5-9 ოქტომბერს (5 ჩამოსვლის და 9 გამგზავრების თარიღი) თბილისში.  ვორკშოპს სრულად აფინანსებს ფრიდრიხ ებერტის ფონდის რეგიონული ოფისი ‘აღმოსავლეთ ევროპის დიალოგი’.

ფორუმ თეატრი გაჩნდა როგორც სოციალური ინტერვენციის ინსტრუმენტი, რომელიც ეხმარება ადამიანებს კრეატიული მიდგომების განვითარებაში, ასევე ნდობის ჩამოყალიბებასა და ადგილობრივი იდენტობის განსაზღვრაში. ფორუმ თეატრის მეშვეობით ადამიანები  ერთვებიან საკუთარი თემის აქტივობებში და მონოლოგის რეჟიმიდან გადადიან დიალოგის რეჟიმში. აუგუსტო ბოალი (ფორუმ თეატრის შემქმნელი) ამბობდა, “სანამ სხვები თამაშობენ თეატრს, ჩვენ ვართ თეატრი”. ფორუმ თეატრი შეიქმნა იმისთვის, რომ დახმარებოდა ადამიანებს პროაქტიულები გამხდარიყვნენ და მოეძებნათ არსებული პრობლემების ახლებური გადაწყვეტა.

მონაწილეობა არის სრულიად უფასო, პროგრამა სრულად ანაზღაურებს გზის და ცხოვრების ხარჯებს. პროექტს უმასპინძლებს ფაბრიკა თბილისი და “impact Hub” თბილისი.

კრეატიული განვითარების ცენტრი შავი ზღვის ნდობის ფონდისა და საქართველოს ინოვაციებისა და ტექნოლოგიების სააგენტოს მხარდაჭერით 27-28 მაისს აწყობს კრეათონს: ინკლუზიური პროექტების მართვა.
ღონისძიების მიზანია ცნობიერების ამაღლება პროექტების გაინკლუზიურების საკითხებზე. ღონისძიებაზე ვიწვევთ დამსაქმებლებს, არასამთავრობო ორგანიზაციებს, სტარტაპებს, ფრილანსერებს და ნებისმიერ დაინტერესებულ პირს, ვისაც სურს მეტი გაიგოს ინკლუზიური პროექტების ორგანიზებისა და შშმ პირების დასაქმების შესახებ.
27 მაისს მონაწილეებს ექნებათ შესაძლებლობა ჩაერთონ ვორკშოპებში ინკლუზიური პროექტების ორგანიზების და მართვის შესახებ, მოუსმინონ მოწვეულ სტუმრებს და იპოვონ თანამოაზრეები.

პროექტის მთავარი მიზანია გორში, ქუთაისში, ზუგდიდსა და ბათუმში ახალგაზრდობასთან აქტიურად მომუშავე ორგანიზაციების გაძლიერება და ახალგაზრდებს შორის სამოქალაქო აქტივიზმის შესახებ ცნობიერების ამაღლება ინოვაციური მეთოდების, კერძოდ კი ფორუმ თეატრის გამოყენებით.

ფორუმ თეატრი, ეს არის თეატრალური მეთოდოლოგია, რომელიც შეიმუშავა ბრაზილიელმა აუგუსტო ბოალმა, და დღესდღეობით  აქტიურად გამოიყენება სამოქალაქო განათლებაში და ზოგადად სამოქალაქო ჩართულობის გაძლიერებისათვის.

Simulation Game Handbook: Accessibility of Education in Eastern Partnership Countries and Russia

Dear friends and Colleagues

We are happy to introduce new handbook in our “library”.

The project “Simulation Game on education in the countries of the Eastern Partnership (EaP) and Russia (SGE)” aimed to promote the principles of social justice, equal opportunity, and participation in the education system among all groups of society. The project aimed to promote society’s inclusive development through raising awareness and addressing challenges such as accessibility of education and equality of opportunity. Simultaneously, the project’s basis is to discuss similarities and differences within the EaP countries and Russia, similarities which are connected to these countries’ shared past. The project itself involved an innovative concept that illustrated the specifics of the education systems of each country, all of which having gone through difficult transitions and currently striving toward increased levels of development. Additionally, the nature of the format provided an opportunity for participants to obtain new and strengthen existing bargaining skills. The project brought together young people from all seven countries. It was thus a mechanism for evaluating current developments as well as providing a platform for youth to express themselves and grow into future leaders in the region.

The Project was jointly implemented by the FES Regional Office “Dialogue Eastern Europe”, the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung South Caucasus Regional Office, and the Creative Development Center (CDC).

Call for Applications: Social Leader Forum 2016

Creative Development Center in cooperation with CRISP e.V and with financial support of Black Sea trust and Erasmus + is recruiting representatives from Public, NGO and (Social) Business sectors, coming from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Russia, and Turkey to participate in the Social Leader Forum 2016 in order to discuss and exchange on the issue of social entrepreneurship and its role in integration of vulnerable groups into society, especially when it comes to the labor market. As experience shows, there is an urgent need for all sectors to combine their strength and experiences in order to tackle the issue.

In order to reach program goals the project foresees the following activities:

• Kick off meeting – September 29-October 5, Georgia.
  The participants meet to exchange on their expertise in order to develop networks for future cooperation. The participants will get input on building cross-sector/cross-border cooperation and plan the next steps, which is the implementation of local initiatives in the region. The meeting is visited by representatives of public as well as business sector.
• Local activities – October-November
  The participants develop and conduct project ideas that are either cross border or cross sector. The project ideas should include further plan for sustainable development of cooperation. They get seed funding from the program in order to implement the projects before the Forum.
• Forum – December 4-11, Istanbul, Turkey
  During the Forum the participants present their projects, evaluate their local activities and meet representatives of other sectors. This meeting is mainly focused on presenting local actions, for their further development and building partnerships. We plan to invite important actors from business, CSO and public sectors, who are potential supporters of such initiatives. Besides that, the final meeting will include an Alumni forum, in order to connect new fellows with alumni of previous years!

Participants: 

Concerning the problem of employability and related challenges, there is an urgent need for all sectors to combine their strength and experiences in order to tackle the issue. Therefore, we are aiming for participants working in public administration, (social) business, NGOs, universities, think tanks and other spheres of professional engagement concerning the issue of youth unemployment, labor migration, creating income opportunities for disadvantage groups (rural

youth, IDPs, women, minorities), career development for young people, social entrepreneurship and are interested in cross-sector cooperation and social innovation. They should have a strong interest in exchanging on best practice and the developing and learning of new ways of working on the issue and to think “out-of-the-box”. We are aiming for a balanced representation of all sectors (civil society, (social) entrepreneurs and public institutions like universities, city departments and public and private (professional/vocational) educational centers). The participants will be selected by a joint jury from all partner organizations. Partners from Germany as well as from other countries will provide expert workshops for all participants.

There is no age limit, but a minimum age of 18.

Accessibility of Education in EaP countries and Russia

Creative Development Centerwith support of the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung Regional Offices for South Caucasus (Tbilisi) and the Regional Office for Dialogue in the Eastern Partnership (Kiev), invites participants from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Ukraine, Moldova, Russia, Belarus

12 – 16 October, Lviv, Ukraine

Project Description:

The project aims to bring together the youth from all EaP countries and Russia, to analyze the experience they have in common regarding Educational system development,  in order to create a ground for changes and new approaches.

Project foresees different activities

1. 1^st stage, developing simulation/ ToT: We have already hosted meeting of Trainers/coordinators in July. Partners from EaP countries and Russia will support building the project and training program.
2. 2^nd Stage – At the moment local trainers work online on creation/Completion of the simulation game.
3. 3^rd Stage, Simulation Game – This CfA is open for the Third part of this project, which  is regional meeting, where participants will have a chance to discuss education issues, play simulation game and draft ideas on how to deal with existing problems

All participants must be:

• Youngsters coming from EaP countries and Russia (aged 18-30) 
• Preferably representing urban, as well as rural areas;
• Young educators;
• Representing CSO, Political parties, social movements, students of politics, economy and journalism, Media, or independent political activists;
• Gender: Equal participation and Gender Balance;
• Participants should have Interest in the Socio-political issues and be Active in their communities;

Dates and venue:

The training course will take place in Lviv, Ukraine 12 to 16^th October.

There is NO participation fee, all expenses are fully covered by organizational team.

ახალგაზრდული ცენტრის შესახებ:

ახალგაზრდული საინფორმაციო ცენტრი არის ევროსაბჭოს პროექტი, რომელიც მიზნად ისახავს ქვეყანაში შეიქმნას თავისუფალი სივრცე, სადაც ნებისმიერ ახალგაზრდას ექნება შესაძლებლობა, მიიღოს სხვადასხვა სახის ინფორმაცია, რომელიც მას დაეხმარება პიროვნულ და კარიერულ წინსვლაში. საინფორმაციო ცენტრი იმუშავებს 4 ძირითადი მიმართულებით:

• ფორმალური/არაფორმალური განათლება
• კარიერული განვითარება და სოციალური მეწარმეობა
• დამიანის უფლებები, ინკლუზია და თანამონაწილეობა
• კულტურა და რეკრეაცია
